EQUIANO SPRINGS has won 2 of his last 3, with the wins separated by a failure to see out 7f at Thirsk. FAST AND LOOSE is a big danger having been denied by a short head in the Ayr Bronze Cup last month. A 3lb higher mark doesn’t leave compensation out of reach in these calmer waters.

A 6lb higher mark remains workable and she’s reunited with Owen Lewis and his 7lb claim. MY BOY JACK is on the radar having been denied into 3rd by just ¾ of a length over this trip at Wolverhampton a month ago.
