LES’S LEGACY was tracking well when unseating his rider late after a slipping saddle at Perth last month. Off the same mark and paired with an 8lb claimer he can make amends.

Race 2 – Market Rasen Racecourse
BROKEN QUEST has a nice hat trick in the sights after back to back convincing victories. He’s up 6lb but looks the one to beat on ideal ground. VIA DOLOROSA comes down in grade after three straight attempts in the G3 ranks. He wasn’t able to land a blow but the experience has to count for something and he has torn it up at this level before.

OSLO has shown potential in his 2 starts over timber, including 4th over C&D back in November. The winner there has franked the form several times since so he might be able to land a blow on comeback run for Fergal O’Brien. OUR STAR IN HEAVEN does attract interest on hurdle bow, fit for a comeback in the bumpers at Catterick back in March, he’s fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time.

DANNY WHIZZBANG is the pick on form having made a big impression scoring with 5 in hand in a chase over this trip at Huntingdon last month. He’s back over timber so gets to launch off the same 117 mark. JAY BEE WHY has posted solid efforts in all 6 outings in this sphere, including 2 wins and 2 placings. Similarly promising over timber, he would not be winning out of turn here as he tackles a longer trip.

BENITO was a very impressive winner with 10 in hand at Chepstow at the start of April. He’s up a huge 11lb but a similar showing might be enough to back it up. INFINITI was a fair runner up here back in November and is of interest returning to this track under the care her new yard.

SEEMINGLY SO looks a solid option here after finding 3rd at Perth in a better event in mid-April. A 3lb lower mark sees him well-treated as he tries out the tongue-tie at a course he’s proven at. AN MARACH is the danger, in need of the run when 5th at Exeter on first outing for Richard Newland. He’s done well in this sphere across the Irish Sea and should be in good shape to challenge now.

HANDS OFF went too hard when sent off favourite at Warwick on debut at the end of March. He’s likely to prove much sharper for the experience and can make amends with backers for Nicky Henderson. EGBERT was a good staying 3rd on debut at Hereford and any sort of improvement on that can see him land some plunder.
