MINELLA TRUMP looks very hard to oppose once more, having won his last 7 in a row including 6 in these ranks. He will need to lift as this is a step up in difficulty but he should be able to give his best. SCENE NOT HERD is likely to prove popular as the potential foil for the selection. He has won both chase outs by dominant margins and could leapfrog the selection on the way to bigger and better.

NEXTDOORTOALICE held off rivals with relative ease on yard bow at Doncaster latest. She is headed in the right direction and can continue her ascendancy. LADY OF THE NIGHT unlocked marked improvement from a wind operation, coming back from 285 days off to score with 8+ in hand. She can give the selection plenty to think about now fighting fit.

NOT AVAILABLE has been improving measurably with each run since joining Matt Sheppard. His latest outing saw him score at Newbury with 2+ in hand at juicy 14/1 odds. He is up 3lb for the effort and could double down with momentum on his side. FIDELIO VALLIS has claims now back in handicap ranks after some decent efforts at Listed and novice levels.

Now upped 5lb he can double down with the longer trip expected to aid his cause. HEAD TO THE STARS does some of his best work here and should be fighting fit after a pleading comeback 3rd at Warwick.

BALCO COASTAL kicked life under rules off with a huge 17 length win in the bumpers at Kempton. He didn’t back it up when plunged into G2 level but wasn’t disgraced at all. He banked on that promise when home with 6 in hand on hurdle bow at Huntingdon and should take a lot of beating despite a 7lb penalty. IONTACH CHEVAL is a trip winner who won well in final bumper outing and was a pleasing 10/1 winner on his own hurdle bow. He can gun for a cross-code hat trick but will have a lot of work to do.
