SOYOUNIQUE was out of form for some time but seems to have shaken out of it after scoring by a neck over 7f here latest. He can back it up off 2lb lower with his rider’s full 7lb claim available. ALWAYS FEARLESS made the most of a slipping mark when victorious over C&D by a short head. Rossa Ryan retains the ride and the pair should be competitive off 2lb higher.

Race 2 – Lingfield Racecourse
FIRMAMENT has been excellent work without winning of late, landing in the top 3 the last 4 times. He is trip suited and David O’Meara’s 10 year old could have plenty left in him off a mark of 84. UNFORGIVING MINUTE is another seasoned veteran and is doing excellent work at this level. His comeback 3rd was promising and if he replicates early 2021 form he’s a big player.

MILLION REASONS backed up a handful of narrow defeat when home by a neck over C&D last week. He had a few of these rivals in tow and a 3lb hike can see him double down with Darragh Keenan retaining the ride. OCEAN EYES was a neck behind the selection in 2nd that day and she isn’t likely to go down without another fight.

FAIR AND SQUARE has been threatening a win since being fitted with blinkers, landing in the frame in 5 of his last 6 outings. He doesn’t have to dig too deep to escape the maiden ranks now fitted with a visor. BENZEMA rattled the crossbar at Wolverhampton latest and can continue his improvement off 1lb higher.

SURREY MIST was a very pleasing 6th on debut in a competitive maiden, attracting no market support. With that run under his belt, George Baker’s now gelded charge could go very well in this small field. BEARING BOB has filled the runner-up berth the last twice and should be in the equation.

NO FLIES ON ME won over C&D 3 starts back and hasn’t been disgraced finding just one too good in both subsequent appearances. NOBLE PEACE went down by a head when 3rd over C&D on penultimate run and should be on the scene with David Probert taking over in the irons.
