AUSSENKHER has found the frame in all 4 post-debut outings, including a neck 2nd over C&D latest. He’s headed in the right direction and should be right amongst it here. GIMIME’S LADDIE is another progressive sort who went down by ½ a length when 3rd over track and trip in first-time blinkers. He should have more to come and can fight it out with the selection.

Race 2 – Kenilworth Racecourse
DANCETILDAYLIGHT has not been far beaten the last twice and has fared better than raw results suggest, especially in a Listed event over slightly shorter here 11 days ago. She comes down in grade and should be in peak fitness so we could see a big effort. WHOA WHOA WHOA was a couple of places ahead of the selection in the aforementioned Listed race. That was her comeback from several months off and she can similarly go well at his level.

Race 3 – Kenilworth Racecourse
CAPTAIN’S RANSOM has won 12 of his 15 starts, including both attempts at this trip. He hasn’t been seen since the end of July but is proven effective fresh. He could take plenty of beating here. FUTURE PRINCE needed the run when 10th at Listed level here in late October. He should be better off for the run and can find plenty of improvement in possibly calmer waters.

Race 4 – Kenilworth Racecourse
BLACKBERRY MALT has found his groove since being returned to the mile, landing his maiden convincingly at Scottsville before being denied a double by a neck when 2nd at Durbanville. He can take another step forward on local bow out of a nice draw of 4. FAIR ADVANTAGE has held his own in stronger fields and could land a blow at this level.

GOLD POKER GAME is bred for this sort of trip and has shown aptitude for every trip range he has tried. He can add to his strong form and notch a 2nd career success on outing number four. UMVOTI has a win and a close 2nd over turf over this trip to work from. We can ignore his 7th on the AW as she shapes up to be a turf specialist for Justin Snaith.

HAPPY CHANCE is forgiven a misfire when 99 lengths beaten into last over 7f at Durbanville latest. Her prior effort saw her win her maiden over this trip and she could turn it around at a course she found 2nd by a neck over back in July. PARISIENNE GIRL hasn’t been far beaten of late and could relish a return to the mile.

NAVY STRENGTH wasn’t far beaten when 5th over 9f at Durbanville last month. He has a few of those rivals to bring his claims against here. He has a swing at the weights and has gained the services of Richard Fourie as he seeks to topple his stablemate. THE FUTURIST was the runner up that day and could have a say on better terms. He still has a bit to do but can’t be ruled out for Brett Crawford.

RED SASH went down by a head to COUNTRY TIME on debut over 5f at Durbanville back in September. She filled the same positon on return there before landing the spoils by ¾ of a length over C&D last month. She has more to do at the weights but has ample scope for improvement. COUNTRY TIME has been beaten into 2nd since but is still showing enough that she could confirm her supremacy here.
