KAARANAH held on to find a good 3rd at Yarmouth latest and looks primed to go a couple better. An unchanged mark plus Harry Davies’ 3lb claim provides a strong perch along with an extra furlong of run. EURAQUILO got away slowly at Lingfield but sharpened up in the run to find success with nearly 2 lengths in hand. A 4lb hike is manageable and he’s expected to remain competitive.

SYNDICATED found significant improvement when sent over this surface at Wolverhampton in a first-time hood, scoring readily. Now the penny has dropped and the gear is retained, he’s fancied to double down now upped in trip. HIGHER LAW gets a mention on debut for Charlie Appleby, William Buick catches the eye in the plate and the market will be a good guide here.

SUPREME KING found the unconventional terrain at Leicester a bit too trying when 5th of 6 following back to back 2nd placings in his first couple of outings. If he doesn’t mind the Polytrack he could tap into his early promise and get his name on the board for Richard Hannon. LIEBER POWER wasn’t much in 7th on debut at Newbury but now drawing from experience and reunited with David Probert it wouldn’t be hard to imagine Andrew Balding’s charge taking a leap forward.

LIR SPECIALE has returned to form pleasingly since having an extended break and a wind operation. A winner by a head at Windsor on return, he was not disgraced when a length 3rd at Newcastle latest. Now tackling 7f off the same mark he could get right back into it. AL SHIBLI is interesting in first-time blinkers, having come within ½ a length over this trip at Wolverhampton last month.

REGIONAL makes fair appeal coming down for some plunder following some fair efforts in much stronger races. Unexposed over this surface, he’s just 2lb higher than his Steward’s Cup 3rd and could prove up to task today. AYR HARBOUR is better than his latest 8th at Chelmsford and is better judged by his 3 placed efforts on this surface prior. A bounce back at a nice price could be on the cards for Mick Appleby’s charge with Tom Marquand a reassuring presence.

MANETTINO was a different creature when 2nd by a head at Chelmsford when refitted with a visor. Off 2lb higher we could see him build further now dropped in trip. YOU ARE MY WORLD finally shed the maiden tag when returned to C&D, outrunning 40/1 odds. David Probert retains the ride and the pair can press for a double off just 2lb higher.
