LORD P unlocked significant improvement when dropped to 6f after wind surgery, winning a nice double in August. Denied a hat trick by 2 lengths when 2nd at Doncaster latest, the return to the Poly where his early successes came from can pay off. AIRSHOW has been fairly consistent since joining Rod Millman and sports a good C&D record.

Race 2 – Kempton Racecourse
SMALL PRINT took a small but notable step forward when 6th at Lingfield when upped to this trip. Now going handicapping off a very workable 63 we could see serious improvement. JUDY’S PARK showed enough to work with when 5th on handicap bow at Wolverhampton and can make the most of a 2lb lower mark.

NO DIGGITY got back on track when rattling the crossbar in a narrow C&D defeat after losing his way a bit in prior outings. A similar effort off 1lb higher can see him duly rewarded. APACHE JEWEL has been decent work of late, finding the top 4 the last 5 times. She is interesting going back to AW where she failed to impress earlier in her career.

Race 4 – Kempton Racecourse
CHATEAU PEAPOD needed the run when 11th on comeback over 7f here, making her first start since November 2019. Stripping fit, with cheekpieces on, a similar effort to her November 2019 C&D 2nd would see her hard to beat. CHLOELLIE has been lacking of late but a drop in class could prove the shot in the arm needed to get her back to her best.

RED EVELYN was touched off late when settling for 3rd over the mile at Lingfield. Now dropped back to 7f and off a 1lb lower mark we can see her compensated. RANIA went down by a nose in first-time blinkers over the extended 9f at Wolverhampton latest and could make the most of the shorter run.

Race 6 – Kempton Racecourse
MINISTER FOR MAGIC outran 50/1 odds to land a shock debut win at Killarney in October and has since changed hands. Eyes are on her to see if it was no fluke, she can back it up under penalty. FIESTA DE VEGA is back from 474 days off and has shown plenty to like in 2 outings including 2nd over C&D back in September 2020. He has plenty of scope and if not in need of the run could land a blow.

Race 7 – Kempton Racecourse
HAFEET ALAIN had a couple of setbacks on the turf but bounced back well when 2nd by a head over 7f at Wolverhampton. The return to the mile looks the right move for Ed Walker’s charge. LA TIHATY is lining up for a hat trick but hasn’t raced in 348 days. He has done enough to be a contender but now upped in trip he might prove a bit dusty for Roger Varian.

JUST ALBERT outran 50/1 odds to score at Wolverhampton latest and now upped in trip he could continue his ascendancy for Geoffrey Deacon. TRUE WARRIOR found improvement when 3rd over 10f latest and now upped again we could see him crack the frame once more.
