SWIFT LIONESS is the danger off the back a debut win by a neck over this trip at Lingfield but the penalty may prove troublesome.

ETERNAL PEARL has found herself in the money in all 3 runs to date, including 3rd over this trip at Newbury latest. This well-bred and connected filly can make it 4th time lucky with William Buick retaining the ride. GOLDEN CHAIN found a fair 3rd on debut over 11f here and warrants consideration for the in-form Ralph Beckett.

DUBAI WELCOME made a pleasing return from 589 days off when 2nd over C&D. He was sent off favourite that day but can make amends with backers here, with Ray Dawson a nice presence in the irons. NAO DA MAIS found 2nd by ¾ of a length at 20/1 odds over 11f here latest and is worth watching to see if that was no fluke.

BILLY MILL took a big step in the right direction when a fair winner over track and trip 3 weeks ago. He’s up just 3lb for the effort and can make for a nice double. ALTO VOLANTE is capable of tapping into the early promise we saw in January 2021. His comeback 5th wasn’t awful and he’s has a bit more time off since. Watch the betting here.

MOEL ARTHUR has struck the crossbar in both outings since his short head maiden victory over 13f at Lingfield in February. Another 2lb rise isn’t ideal but he’s still quite capable of taking another step forward here. MUKHA MAGIC was in complete control when victorious with 2 in hand over this trip at Chelmsford latest. A 4lb hike is somewhat lenient and he can give the selection plenty to think about.

CAPTAIN’S BAR was a convincing winner at Lingfield over this trip latest and has a 7lb claimer in the saddle to dampen the penalty. This is a tougher task but he’s looking capable of backing it up. MASTERCLASS returned a gelding to find a career-best 2nd at Yarmouth in May. The winner has franked the form and we can see plenty more from this unexposed type.

THAKI represents last year’s winning trainer in Chris Dwyer. He’s fresh off a strong trip win at Newcastle and should be able to put forth another strong posting off 3lb higher. GHERKIN is a danger having scored over 6f at Windsor latest. He’s a C&D winner who should have more to come despite a 5lb higher mark.
