SAXON KING has found notable improvement with each run and was last seen a head 2nd over 7f at Lingfield. Another furlong of run might be enough to get him over the line, provided he doesn’t mind the heavy ground. ROOST gets a mention on debut for Ralph Beckett and sports Group winning relations.

ZEBRA STAR found a valuable class 2 handicap a bit much when 7th at Newmarket last month. A 4lb lower mark and a plunge into nursery ranks can see her make her mark. The booking of Tom Marquand just sweetens the pot. BEACH BREEZE has attracted strong market support a few times but remains a maiden. If he brings his best he wouldn’t be out of place at the finish line.

QOYA won with authority at Nottingham latest over 14f. Willie Haggas’ filly shaped as though even more run would do her well. A 6lb penalty isn’t a big concern and the return of Tom Marquand is most pleasing. KINCADE is up 5lb for a Pontefract win back in August and could have something to say on comeback run, with Hollie Doyle back for the ride.
