FRANZ LEHAR is a debut winner who couldn’t back it up here following several months off. He should be better off for the outing and can make a much better showing here. WINTER BARON had plenty of issues here in 8th when breathing issues and a missing shoe scuppered his chances. He can leave that behind him and is capable of plenty of damage off bottom weight.

MAJESTIC WARRIOR went too hard too early when pipped by ½ a length over the extended 9f here latest. A slight ease in yardage and a more disciplined ride can see him duly compensated. RED PIANO has found 3rd the last twice and could find further improvement for the extra furlong.

CAESURA got home by a neck on the AW over 8f here on penultimate outing and wasn’t far beaten in 4th since. He is well-drawn and his rider’s 9lb claim could see him make quite the offensive bid. PEWTER SKY was a fair 2nd here latest and can take a step forward now tackling 9f again.

CAPTAIN CASEY made a solid return from a few months off when 3rd over C&D at Listed level. He can go a couple better in calmer waters. IRON WILL is better than the last effort over 9f here. If we look at his penultimate success over C&D he is a big player, toppling a well-regarded sort.

MVULAZANA returned to winning ways over C&D latest with enough in hand to suggest she can back it up under penalty. She has done all her best work at this course and retains ample scope for improvement. I AM REGAL is a debut C&D winner who has placed in all 3 outings since. Now under the care of Kumaran Naidoo we can expect much more from her. Her rider’s 9lb claim sees her poised to strike once more if not in need of the run.

JOHNDUNBAR found a narrow but pleasing success over the AW here back in July on just his 3rd start. He can back it up having shown a liking for turf when 4th on debut here back in April. He hasn’t been seen in 147 days but can go well from a fair draw. MOUNT GREYLOCK showed marked improvement over C&D when home by a neck. That win can prove to be a good shot in the arm and he is in a spot to make a respectable double bid.
