IMPERIAL ORDER has shown ample promise, landing in the money in both starts. Now upped in trip and tackling the AW we could see him take the final step forward, despite the less-than-ideal draw. IMAGINABLE is the pick of the newcomers, watch the betting for a handy gauge.

CORSICAN had things go against him when 5th over 5f here last time out. Now he goes up markedly in trip as he seeks to reproduce his earlier standard from pole position. L’ULTIMO sharpened nicely when given an extra couple of furlongs on local bow, finding 3rd. He is well-drawn here and could have more to come now upped in yardage again.

INHLE INTOMBI was a fair 6th on debut over 7f at Scottsville last month. Now racing with experience, she looks primed for improvement out of pole positon as she is given an extra furlong of run of AW bow. FLIRTY DANCER was a pleasing 2nd on debut at 16/1 odds over this trip at Scottsville. She’s got the next best of the draws and can challenge the selection in her own right.

PRETTY IN PEARLS needed the outing when 6th of 6 on return from 117 days off. A return to a longer trip range and the benefit of improved fitness can see her bounce back nicely. RECKLESS LOVE could muster a bold bid in receipt of weight all round. She’s back over the Poly following some placed efforts at Scottville and does have valid enough claims.

AMBERGLO STAR caught the eye latest when not too far beaten into 6th from a lousy draw at Scottsville. She could put the effort to good work here in what could prove to be a tough contest. GREEN SLEEVES is a C&D winner who should relish the return to the AW following some mediocre efforts over turf.

AL’S MY DADDY is forgiven a Scottsville misfire when beating just one home 17 days ago. She’s well-drawn to bounce back and could manage to do so if her form can transfer to the AW. RALPH THE RASCAL found a promising rival too good latest when ½ a length 3rd over this trip on the turf track here. He can make amends readily on return to his preferred C&D and surface.
