VICTORY TWIST is in a rip pocket of form since returning to this surface. He won’t have to dig deep to get back on top in these conditions. MONARCHY has won his last couple in a fairly impressive manner and demands respect lining up for the coveted hat trick. This will require a bit more but he’s more than up to task.

QUE FOR YOU is in top shape and has developed into a front-running type who puts up a fight to the bitter end. CAPETOWN BEAUTY relished an up in trip when home with authority over the extended 9f here. She’s likely to have more to come, especially for the up in yardage with Warren Kennedy retaining the ride.

PACIFIC WINTER did well to find 4th in a fairly competitive event on turf at Scottsville latest. He’s likely to relish the return to the AW and can make the most of a good draw. LESLIESPATHTOFAME is likely to offer the most resistance from pole position. He has found the frame the last twice here and is holding form well.

Still, she has won over this trip in 1 of her 2 attempts so she could have the right answers here. HER ROYAL MAJESTY has struck the crossbar the last thrice, always denied by under a length. She’s been given some leeway at the weights and could gain due compensation here.

LADY MACBETH had the situation well in hand when home over this trip at Scottsville back in January. Now making yard bow for Lorenzo Karriem she could bring the momentum back over to the Poly where she has proven capable with a C&D 2nd on penultimate run. TOP HONOURS has beaten the selection in the past but might not be able to contend with the newly improved and matured selection. She’s got a 9lb claimer and pole position to aid her cause but she’s looking to be more useful over turf.

FINAL DESTINY overcame a lousy draw in a speedy C&D event last month to win with 2 in hand at a nice 11/1 price. First-time blinkers seemed to have done the job and they’re back on today as he launches from a much better draw. QUEST FOR THE BEST has taken a while to get into gear but looks close to a post-maiden victory. He is reunited with Donald Geerthsen and his 9lb claim and should put another foot forward.
