GIMME A RAINBOW is forgiven a misfire when a less than ideal pace saw him no better than 8th over 7f here. A drop in trip and the best of the draws could foster an immediate recovery. GREY OCEAN was denied over C&D by ½ a length when having to settle for 4th. Out of gate 3 he’s capable of a big run.

Race 2 – Greyville Racecourse
CAPRIANA returned to form with a ¾ length 3rd over C&D latest. Another go out of pole position could see her add a second win to her tally. GRUE OF ICE has found the frame the last twice since being fitted with blinkers. A short rest should have done her well and she’s a player if taking to the Polytrack.

Race 3 – Greyville Racecourse
IF YOU SAY SO went too hard latest but managed to find a fair ½ length 3rd over this trip on the turf here. She can build on it from a solid draw of 2 now tackling the AW. SUCH A CRACKER does her best on the Polytrack and can have a say now back down in trip after a struggle over 10f on the turf. Blinkers add to her appeal.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
MASTER OF LAW showed some promise when 3rd on first attempt at this surface when making yard bow for Paul Lafferty back in June. He wasn’t far beaten over 7f here on turf on penultimate run and now back on the Poly could be something. FEVER is forgiven a misfire in 7th here latest. His prior form is solid and he’s quite capable of making his presence felt.

Race 5 – Greyville Racecourse
FASHIONIGMA won her maiden with 4 in hand over the extended mile at Scottville. She was a respectable 3rd over slightly further since and makes plenty of appeal out of barrier 1 with a 3lb claimer once more. MISS MISSOURI was last seen winning by a neck here back in May. She is well-drawn to pick up where she left off for Doug Campbell.

Race 6 – Greyville Racecourse
RODRIGUEZ hasn’t been able to build on a cosy 9f win here, landing 7th in both runs since. Things could turn around now he has the best of the draws and heads up in trip. CHEROKEE TRAIL attracted strong market support when upped in trip on first try of the Poly. He snuck home by a neck and could have plenty more to come now upped another couple of furlongs.

RALPH THE RASCAL took a bit of work to reopen the account but did so well enough when refitted with blinkers in late September. Now he’s back on the scoreboard he can add to the tally, with a 9lb claimer and barrier one working in his favour. COUNT MARSH is a reliable sort who has won 2 of his last 4 and would not be winning out of turn in these ideal conditions.

ROYAL KITTY won with authority over C&D on penultimate run before having to settle for a head 2nd on double bid when upped to the mile. A drop back in trip and a better draw can see her bounce right back for the in-form Alyson Wright string. VENTUROUS held her own when 5th in a better field over turf here last month. A return to the Poly sees her looking rather dangerous.
