I’VE GOT WINGS caught the eye in 3rd from a wide berth on penultimate run before misfiring on return. She could get it right this time, with a marginally better launching point.

ROTUNDA does her best work on this surface but is fresh off a 2nd by a neck over turf at Scottsville. She’s shaping up to be a versatile sort who has sharpened plenty for the application of blinkers. ICE SUNSATION was 5th to the selection when the above was successful over C&D. She wasn’t far beaten and is primed to strike back at the weights.

RAVENS SWORD has found 2nd in 2 of her 3 outings over this surface and may well find the missing piece now upped to 9f. ROCK FALL showed his best yet when 4th on yard bow for Paul Lafferty, showing a possible aptitude for this surface.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
RULERSHIP is a debut winner who was immediately plunged into the G3 ranks where he was unable to land a single blow. He recovered well when 2nd after being eased in grade and gelded. He’s capable of getting back on track here. HOOVES OF TROY is a deserving sort who has been knocking hard at the door of late. He’s poorly-drawn but cannot be discounted here.

ABSOLUTE VALUE was a most pleasing 2nd over this trip at Vaal latest, with the form being franked since. With that to work from as he tackles the Poly for the first time, we could see him go one better despite the wide draw. CAPETOWN AFFAIR has been turned over at short odds the last twice and does warrant respect as he is capable of getting it right this time, especially from a draw of 3.

RADAMES showed a return to form when ¾ of a length 3rd over 7f here latest. He can build on that now out of gate 3 with a 9lb claimer aboard. TRACK COMMANDER had excuses when 6th over 9f here latest. He can bounce back now dropped in trip and out of pole positon.

IMMEASURABLE is of fair interest having made the trek from the Highveld. He’s a front running sort for Sean Tarry and could unlock plenty more now attempting the Polytrack. FORWARD SPELL got up over 10f here by a short head latest. A drop in trip can see him remain competitive.
