I’VE GOT WINGS has shown her best yet on this surface and warrants plenty of respect returning. Runner-up over C&D on penultimate start, a similar showing can see her exit the maidens. NDABEZITHA was beaten by just a neck when 3rd over 7f here back in April. His other efforts haven’t been great but he could get it right now eased in trip.

Race 2 – Greyville Racecourse
NATALIA showed pleasing improvement when 3rd over 6f here last month from a wide draw. A similar showing now out of barrier one could be tough to peg back. CANTFOOLME fired up late on debut to find 3rd over 7f here. She can eke out further improvement over the extra furlong, now running with experience.

DUKE OF AFRICA returned from a short spell to be denied into 2nd by a neck over C&D. With improved fitness he can gain valuable compensation. DAWN MISSION has struck the crossbar the last 4 times running. He’s unlucky to remain a maiden and should be a major player once more.

LIVING WATERS has been doing good work without winning of late. Last seen 3rd over slightly further from a wide draw, he can build on the effort now out of pole position. LORD MINVER has found the frame in all 3 outings since returning from a break. Last seen 2nd to a reopposing rival, he could reverse the outcome with some swing at the weights.

IMMEASURABLE has been toppled by agonisingly small margins the last thrice. A similar effort to any of those efforts can see him duly compensated, provided he overcomes the wide draw. MASTER TOBE is doing good work on both surfaces and has the best of the draws to work with. He’s up in grade here but looks primed to give it his all.

STANLEY couldn’t land a blow when drawn wide over this trip on the turf here. Now he’s drawn gate 1 and can make a big splash on return to his ideal surface. LESLIES PATHTOFAME is a chance if the pace suits, he has been doing solid work in defeat all year.

SPLASH OF GREEN has been not too far beaten over turf of late and is of interest tackling the Poly for the first time. Eased at the weights, if she takes to the surface she could be anything for Weiho Marwing. BINGIN BEACH is fresh off a narrow success after reversing form with a reopposing rival. The pair could continue their rivalry, especially if the selection isn’t much on this surface.

Race 8 – Greyville Racecourse
TRAFALGAR SQUARE was a cosy but pleasing winner over C&D on penultimate start. He was far from disgraced when 3rd by the same margin at Scottsville over turf since. He demands respect on return here and can bounce right back to the scoreboard. ONE TOO MANY got home readily over C&D latest and could back it up now out of gate two. Blinkers seem to have worked out and they’re retained today.
