BARONY LEGEND stormed home on hurdle bow with 27 in hand in the maiden ranks. He was immediately sent off to G2 level and couldn’t land a blow. Now down in the novice ranks he can put the experience to good use. DREAMING BLUE could have more to come after shedding the maiden tag over C&D latest with 11 in hand.

Race 2 – Fontwell Racecourse
PILSDON PEN was nothing special until sent off handicapping and edging out an 80/1 maiden win by a neck at Wincanton. Handed a 6lb rise he looks capable of more now the penny has dropped. CHENG GONG has found the frame the last 5 times, off this same mark. He’s likely to be in the mix once more and could have his consistency rewarded.

Race 3 – Fontwell Racecourse
GALTEE MOUNTAIN had over 9 in hand when opening the chase account over C&D at the end of January. He meets some of the same rivals but could still hold them off despite the 7lb hike. GOLDENCARD misfired at Ludlow latest but has to be considered after being denied into 2nd by a nose over C&D prior to that.

Race 4 – Fontwell Racecourse
CHAMBARD returned from 265 days off and a wind operation to bolt up with 13 in hand at Exeter over this trip and hasn’t been disgraced when striking the crossbar in both outings since. Now 2lb well-in he could go one better for the in-form Venetia Williams string. FOR LANGY showed his best to date when 2nd at Huntingdon and has to enter the equation off 1lb higher.

Race 5 – Fontwell Racecourse
INTERNE DE SIVOLA win his maiden in good style at Cheltenham before being sent off to G2 level where he was way outclassed. The experience will have done him well and back down in grade he could be hard to peg back. SILVER SHADE fared slightly better than the selection in the aforementioned G2 event but isn’t certain to confirm that result on his 3rd outing over timber.

UALLRIGHTHARRY gets the vote on riding arrangements as well as the fact the pair struck the crossbar at Plumpton latest off this mark. UN PROPHETE is the danger headed down in grade and paired with a valuable 10lb claimer in Ned Fox.

GALUDON looked great in 2nd behind a rival who has since won twice over timber. He has changed hands and makes solid appeal on English debut for Harry Whittington. DUKE OF DECEPTION has shown ample promise in both outings in the bumpers to date and looks the type to improve for a 80 day rest.
