LILY OF ORANGE has missed the jump in her last couple but did well to find 3rd in each. A clean break may well be enough to deliver her deserved maiden success. TUFAAN has been in a nice pocket of form of late and wouldn’t be out of place contesting the finish.

MY BOY REECEY gets the vote as he heads down in trip for Sharon Kotzen. He found 2nd by a short head over C&D in May and could go one better out of barrier one. BOLD STRIKE is an honest sort who usually finds a way into the equation. He was a fair 3rd over C&D latest and is well-drawn to contest the finish.

ABLUEAZURE fired up nicely to secure success over slightly shorter here at the start of the month. Another effort like that could see him double down nicely. RAINBOW THIEF won on debut over 5f on turf before joining Juan Nel and posting a fair 3rd when upped in trip. Another furlong of run and the addition of the Polytrack could see her take another big step forward. ANCESTRAL PRAYER is a player having struck the crossbar in all 3 runs since joining Alan Greeff. She’s deserving of success and could get it right here.

VISTA NOVA is forgiven a lacklustre 7th over C&D latest. He landed 2nd in both prior starts here and is better judge don those efforts. He’s capable of bouncing right back following a 73 day spell. BRASS BELL is a hit and miss sort for Gavin Smith, with form lines of 1929 of late. If we get him on a good day he’s a dangerous sort.
