MISS NIBBLES misfired over turf here latest but won readily over C&D on last Polytrack appearance in April. She has done all her best work here and should relish the return. GILLIAN ANNE is a temperamental Gavin Smith mare but she’s more than capable when in the mood. She has won 2 of her last 3 over turf and can attempt to translate the form to Polytrack.

ADMIRALS CHANCE has shown ample potential in 4 starts, including placed finishes in both starts over this surface. A slight drop in trip shouldn’t be an issue as Alan Greeff’s colt continues to improve. CHARIOT MASTER fired up late to find 2nd on local bow over 6f and is likely to have more to come.

JOE HARMAN is somewhat unlucky to be a 21 start maiden. He has managed to find the frame in 10 of his starts, including twice over C&D. Both defeats were 2nd by a neck and he’s capable of going one better with a good run. MANSOORIYA was well-backed when ½ a length 2nd to a stablemate over a similar trip over turf. She wasn’t great on her sole AW start but could come forward plenty at this trip range.

VAR’S BOY needed the run when 9th on comeback from 157 days off track. He wasn’t too far beaten and has posted plenty of promising efforts on this surface, placing 12 times in 19 starts. Expect a big effort now fighting fit. MOON GAME is respected on hat trick bid, but his wins have come over turf. He’s proven on the Poly but hasn’t posted a solid effort over it since November.

PLEASEDTOMEETYOU attracted strong market support on Polytrack debut. He lived up to expectations, scoring with ½ a length in hand over slightly further, accounting for a few of these rivals. He’s entitled to build on that effort and should be involved in the finish once more.
