MI MI APPLE PIE hasn’t shown a whole lot in ten runs to date but now a change of scenery as she shifts from Glen to Sharon Kotzen could see her fire up in a very moderate field. LILY OF ORANGE is of fair appeal as she has done all her best work on this surface and Richard Fourie’s booking catches the eye.

MACTAVISH is of interest returning to the mile as he tackles the All-Weather for the first time. TRUMPS EXPRESS has been narrowly denied into 2nd in 2 of his last 3 outings and this might be his opening for compensation. He’s long due a maiden win and now back over the mile could pounce from a good draw.

MARMARA SEA has been doing excellent work without winning of late but now reverting to a C&D he’s 4 from 7 over we could see a renewed offensive. GRAZINGINTHEGRASS is in a ripe pocket of form and was last seen 3rd to some very useful sorts here. A return to the mile and the AW can see him a big player.

YOU KNOW WHO couldn’t land a blow when 9th in the East Cape Derby here in May. He’s capable of a much improved showing now dropped in class and trip as he tackles the AW for the first time. GREAT WARRIOR isn’t the most consistent operator but has won over this trip and is capable of a compelling bid on his best form.

RATTLE MOUSE hasn’t scored since September but has posted some useful efforts. She’s capable of unlocking more now sent off over the Polytrack for the first time. IDEAL ANGEL is better over turf but has shown usefulness on the synthetic and remains somewhat unexposed. She notched a convincing C&D win on penultimate run and could have plenty more to come.

VISTA NOVA has rattled the crossbar in three of his last four outings and warrants respect dropping in trip as he tackles a tougher task.
