EKORIA has won 3 times in 6 starts and was denied into 2nd by a head over 6f here on comeback from a few months off. The winner that day is the reopposing PEACH DAIQUIRI who has a lot more to do at the weights here. They both tackle the AW for the first time so this could be interesting.

EMILY’S SPIRIT has proven costly to follow but has shown a lot of potential. She’s had some trouble getting out of the maidens but is certainly due to do so. KIND OF BLUE has found the frame in both starts on this surface and should be right amongst it for Gavin Smith.

UNCLE GEORGE was meant to make local bow sooner but was unable to settle in the barriers. He is now a gelding and if he gets it together he could make a splash now under the care of Sharon Kotzen. MR BODACIOUS hasn’t been great the last twice but now making AW/yard debut for Gavin Smith could have something to say.

JACOB’S LADDER was a fair winner over C&D on penultimate outing before being plunged into a Listed race. He couldn’t land a blow but wasn’t disgraced either. These calmer waters can see him right back on the board. WAITING FOR SUMMER has been unable to justify favouritism the last twice but has shown some promise in the past. He could get into the equation on just his 2nd attempt at the Poly.

WILDEST DREAMS has done all her winning over Turf but has nonetheless placed 4 times in 7 outings over AW. She has been in good heart since joining Alan Greeff and could get the job done here. RIVER CAFE got back into the swing of things when scoring with authority over C&D latest. The blinkers come off which could help her back it up but she is drawn wide.

LIGHT THAT LOOSE makes plenty of appeal coming down in grade on just 4th start since joining Cliffie Miller. He has found 3rd on both attempts over this surface and could have a big effort in store. ALL ABOUT AL looks the danger on first run since joining Alan Greeff. He handles his recruits well and he has been right amongst it on the Western Cape of late.

NOTORIX was denied by a neck over 6f here before gaining compensation by the same margin when dropped to this trip. He can back it up from barrier 4 over his ideal C&D. MY AMI BEACH finished strongly when scoring with 2 in hand over 6f on the turf here. If she takes to the poly she could get in the mix from gate 3.
