ARTHUR’S VICTORY showed good staying ability in 3rd over the mile at Yarmouth latest. Beaten less than a length, she’s expected to relish the extra couple of furlongs off the same mark. BEAUTIFUL CROWN is a clear contender having found the frame the last twice and should be nice and fresh from a 74 day spell.

EDINBURGH ROCK improved plenty when upped to this trip at Chepstow latest, finding a strong 2nd. Now fitted with blinkers we could see him shed the maiden tag in style.

SLY MADAM won well over track and trip latest and gets the vote to follow up. She has been in a rich vein of form of late and can weather the 5lb penalty. MAYSONG was a fair 3rd at Goodwood late last month and is respected headed down in grade for Alice Haynes.

TOTAL LOCKDOWN found marked improvement when fitted with a hood, finding 2nd by ¾ of a length at Newmarket over the mile. He went one better in a dead-heat when upped to 10f and is interesting dropped back again. MOUNT KOSCIUSZKO is the obvious danger as he lines up for a hat trick. He’s had a few months to rest and should come out swinging off 3lb higher.
