OASIS IRLANDES struggled to change gears when 4th on debut over 5f at Wolverhampton 8 days ago. With that under his belt and an extra furlong we could see him sharpen up significantly. SHIN SAW GYI gets a mention on debut as a 20,000 Guinea purchase who has some useful relations on this surface.

TYPEWRITTEN showed some promise on debut when 2 ½ lengths back in 6th over slightly shorter here. She took a big step forward when 2nd at Chelmsford over this trip and looks capable of going one better here. CERULEAN failed to impress on UK debut for Ivan Furtado but could make a better impression off a 75 mark with that run under his belt.

HATHLOOL is a local winner who took another step forward when scoring at Wolverhampton sporting a first-time hood. He has won 2 of his last 3 and looks set to continue his ascendancy over an ideal trip. MORLAIX went down by a neck when 2nd at Wolverhampton on comeback run. With that under his belt, off a 1lb hike he can offer plenty of resistance.

DUBAI EMPEROR came within ½ a length of the front when 5th on comeback run at Wolverhampton. A similar display here can see him a serious contender. CAPTAIN ST LUCIFER landed a gutsy punt when a ¾ of a length winner over C&D latest. A 2lb hike for the effort won’t stop Ivan Furtado’s charge from pressing for a double.

WHITTLE LE WOODS did plenty right when staying well when runner up by a neck at Newcastle on yard bow for Mick Appleby. He can double down now returned to 7f. PORFIN is in excellent shape since joining The McEntee yard. This is an up in grade but he could take it in stride with the services of Hollie Doyle.

THE GAME OF LIFE showed plenty to like when strong late work saw him 3rd in a moderate handicap over C&D. This is an even easier task so he gets the nod to double down. TREVIE FOUNTAIN is the danger off the back of a Newcastle crossbar rattling. The drop in trip should pay some dividends.
