RED TREASURE was a most pleasing debutante when 2nd at Windsor at the start of the month. She can go even better for the experience and has Hollie Doyle returning for the ride. GEORGIAVA is a player having found 2nd a couple of times over 5f. Another furlong of run on 2nd start since wind surgery could spark some improvement.

MINHAAJ has been posting very respectable efforts in defeat and looks to have found an ideal opening to get back on the scoreboard. This is a fairly weak event and she can make the most of her rider’s 7lb claim. DOC SPORTELLO didn’t deliver at all latest, but is better judged off prior efforts. He won here in May off 2lb lower but is 3lb better off thanks to his rider’s 5lb.

ALFRED COVE showed his best yet when ½ a length 2nd at Hamilton. Another go at 6f on first run for George Scott can see him go one better. ISCHIA has shown ample potential, including in a couple of handicaps. She can make a move now back in the maidens.

HIDDEN PEARL is in a rich pocket of form and looks set to try overturn a recent 2 length beating into 2nd by the reopposing TEMUR KHAN. The selection is better off at the weights and has a 3lb claimer to boot, so expect a serious effort. TEMUR KHAN demands respect as he seeks to uphold the form and secure a superb August hat trick. He’s up 7lb for the latest leg so will need to bring his absolute best.

WHOLETTHEDOGSOUT got home by a short head at Ffos Las when fitted with a first-time visor. A 3lb rise could see her back it up with a similar effort possibly being hard to peg back in a 3 horse field. SWEET FORTUNE could be the danger, having won well at Wolverhampton latest and has shown some promise over turf.

DE VEGAS KID does good work here and was far from disgraced in 4th in a much stronger field here 19 days ago. A drop in trip is no issue and he could find a nice shot in the arm now in calmer waters. SPANISH MANE is also fairly effective at this course and is worth a closer look. He would not be wining out of turn after a C&D success by a neck on penultimate outing.
