Race 1 – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse
LELANTOS returned to winning ways in style over C&D at the end of July. A 3lb hike for that success seems very lenient and he gets the vote to follow up for Nicky Henderson. IMPERIAL SACHIN’S is respected having won over timber and fences in his two starts for Fergal O’Brien. He looks a big danger on the hunt for a hat trick.

Race 2 – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse
MASKED MATGIL made a strong start to life when ½ a length 2nd in a Newton Abbot bumper. She went one better at Uttoxeter and looks set to make a splash now heading over timber. ULTIMATE FAME is respected for the Fergal O’Brien team, who took this out last year. He hasn’t been great the last twice but a first-time tongue-tie could be the oracle.

Race 3 – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse
GO ON CHEZ won 5 in a row over fences, including a leg over C&D before being beaten into 3rd when upped in grade. He can bounce back right away now eased in grade and trip again. FLYING VERSE was a pleasing 2nd at Stratford following wind surfer and could have more despite copping a 4lb rise.

Race 4 – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse
YCCS PORTOCERVO has been sliding down the ratings as he’s been somewhat out of form. Now landing on a mark of 118 he is starting to look very appealing for Richard Newland. NORTHERN BOUND scored at Worcester in June and while he failed to fire over timber there since, he can go well back over fences.

Race 5 – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse
COURTANDBOULD is of interest on return from wind surgery as he makes his first outing for Dan Skelton. He is a far cry from his 141 high rating and can make an impact off a nice mark of 112 if the procedure has the desired effect. ZAMOND rattled the crossbar a couple of times before scoring by a neck at Cartmel last month. A 4lb higher mark should see Don McCain’s charge remain a contender.

BRIDGE ROAD has found 2nd in both runs of late and can go one better here despite a 2lb higher perch. He doesn’t look like he’ll be a maiden much longer if keeping up this good work. ONE TOUCH won narrowly at Uttoxeter and the form has been boosted. That said, an 8lb hike is a bit rough.
