GIRL SCOUT took a fair step forward when 4th over the Polytrack here late last month. She’s capable of getting her way is a weaker affair. WONDER WOMAN is a 56 start maiden but does have the ability to earn or even challenge if the stars align.

Race 2 – Fairview Racecourse
LADY CHARTOUCHE was sluggish out of the gate on debut over 5f here but managed a good 3rd. A better jump and the benefit of experience can see her improve markedly. FLOWERS OF NIKE showed good turn of foot when ½ a length 2nd over C&D at the end of July. She can contest the finish with that to work from.

Race 3 – Fairview Racecourse
INDY VIEW has landed in the money in all 4 outings to date, including three 2nd place finishes. Sharon Kotzen’s colt won’t be a maiden much longer and has a fair draw to work from. HEATHCLIFF is a hit and miss sort but his 7f 2nd here by a head in May reads well and a similar effort would be hard to peg back.

Race 4 – Fairview Racecourse
DIVINE ODYSSEY gets the vote now back up in trip after the extended 9f was shown to be inadequate. Now making start for the Laing team he’s capable of bouncing back to the standard that saw him notch a 4 timer prior to that effort. ANCIENT TIMES is a big danger having settled for 2nd the last twice here, with the drop in trip likely no issue.

AND WE DANCED hinted at a return to winning ways when 2nd over C&D a fortnight back. A similar effort from another good draw can see her add to her tally. DAME OF FLAMES is dangerous down in grade following back to back 7th places at Listed level. She’s quite capable of pressing her claims at this level.

Race 6 – Fairview Racecourse
DOUBLE DESTINY is better than the 4th we saw here when upped to a Listed contest. She has good late speed and can get into gear now eased a furlong to her maiden winning C&D. PAM’S PRINCESS is an honest sort who should be right amongst the action after a ½ length beating into 3rd on the AW here.

CLIFF TOP seems to inhabit either end of the spectrum, sporting a couple of wins as well as a couple of last placings. He’s clearly talented and if he’s in the mood will be hard to oppose despite a few months off. KHAYA’S HOPE can capitalise if the selection has another off day. A debut winner who has landed in the frame in all 5 runs since, he can overcome a wide draw.

Race 8 – Fairview Racecourse
VERIFIED is respected under penalty following a decent maiden win over this trip on the Polytrack. Blinkers have sharpened him nicely and he’s expected to have more up his sleeve for Gavin Smith. JAQUAR CAT is looking dangerous after plenty of fair efforts on the AW. He hasn’t impressed as much over turf but remains open to improvement.

PSYCHEDELIC ERIC has been doing good work on the AW here, notching a ready win over 5f and backing it up well enough in 2nd since. If he can bring the standard tot his surface he can continue to reap rewards. GAUL RULER needed the run when 3rd on local/yard bow last month. He’s another sort who could prove dangerous if able to bring recent form to turf.
