FULLY WET showed no signs of slowing down when scoring readily on debut at Goodwood over this trip. This tougher task looks within her wheelhouse and she’s fancied to make massive improvement with Frankie Dettori a pleasing presence in the plate. MEDITATE is the pick on form as she lines up for a hat trick on start number three. Last seen readily winning at this level in Ireland, she could prove too good.

Race 2 – Royal Ascot
PERFECT POWER won the Norfolk here last year by a head before finding success at this level in the Middle Park at Newmarket and the Darley Prix Morny in France. Not his best in the 2000 Guineas, he’s expected to relish the shortened trip. GO BEARS GO was a fair 4th in the Sandy Lane at Haydock last month. He got out slowly that day so the effort reads well. A better jump could see him able to press his claims despite the up in grade.

CANDLEFORD took a few turns to get into the swing of things in his post-maiden appearances. He finally got it right when scoring with conviction over this trip at Kempton in November. The form has taken a massive shot in the arm as the runner up has gone on to land the Ascot Stakes 3 days ago. JUST FINE made a pleasing return to action when 3rd at York last month. He’s going to be fitter for the run and this Royal Runner looks capable of marked improvement.

Race 4 – Royal Ascot
INSPIRAL is unbeaten in 4 starts, including the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket back in October. She has a 252 day absence to defy but could prove too classy for the mighty Gosdens, with Frankie Dettori back aboard. MANGOUSTINE has claims after winning the French 1000 Guineas by a head. This is her UK debut and she’s more than capable of bringing home some plunder.

HEREDIA is 3 from 3 and looks set to continue her ascendancy despite a 7lb hike. Her latest effort saw her successful at York despite a slow start and some traffic issues. With a clearer run she’s capable of plenty of further improvement. ZANBAQ wasn’t disgraced when 3rd at Listed level at Goodwood before justifying very short odds to score at Haydock latest. She’s interesting upped to the mile once more now going handicapping off a mark of 99.

Race 6 – Royal Ascot
CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD was a dominant 6+ length winner in the G3 Chester Vase in May. He wasn’t disgraced when 5th in the Derby at the start of the month and looks capable of bouncing back eased in task. OTTOMAN FLEET made a positive impression when a neck 2nd on debut at Newbury, sent right into Listed level off the back of that posting. He managed success there and can give another strong account of himself for powerful connections.

Race 7 – Royal Ascot
LADIES CHURCH has done little wrong to date and is shaping up to be a very effective sprinter. Last seen a neck 2nd on comeback run at Cork, the form has been boosted as one of the rivals in tow has gone on to score at G2 level. An opening 98 looks lenient on these terms. RUTHIN has won a couple of decent events in the US and was a fair 7th in the Winsor Castle here last year. A 105 mark seems workable for Wesley Ward’s filly.
