JACKSONVILLE has given us small glimpses of potential but we could see much more now shifting to the Zietsman Oosthuizen team and tackling the Polytrack. IRISH SEA has been consistently posting strong efforts in defeat and should be a player once more on 2nd outing since joining Duncan McKenzie.

MAGIC MOMENTS was too bad to be true when 11th of 11 on final outing for Greg Ennion. He’s now under the care of Sharon Kotzen and is expected to bounce back somewhat over a new surface. SILVER SLIPPERS has found the frame the last 6 times running and while she seems hard to win with there’s clearly talent and she’ll get it right sooner or later.

Race 4 – Fairview Racecourse
FERRARI ICE has struck a ripe vein of form over turf of late, winning 2 of his last 3 outings. He’s shown similar ability over this surface and should be able to keep his standard up. STAR OF THE SOUTH has finished behind the selection in both recent victories but is making up ground fast and does look capable of a minor prize.

DIVINE ODYSSEY has been unstoppable since November, winning the last 4 all in convincing style. He’s back from a couple months rest and looks hard to oppose as he vies to remain unbeaten on the Polytrack. HERODOTUS does his best over the mile range but could land a blow as he’s a local winner who has placed in 2 of 3 attempts at this trip.

PARIS OPERA is in a ripe pocket of form and doesn’t often run a bad race. That said the draw of 11 is far from ideal for Greg Cheyne. FORWARD MARCH is often in the mix on this surface and could pounce but is equally poorly-drawn.

MESMERIZING MOON has a fair record over C&D and was last seen denied into 2nd over 5f here by ¾ of a length. She’s capable of getting compensation as she gets a bit more yardage. PINK LEGACY is a stablemate to the selection who did win well over C&D on her first start for this team back in December. She will relish the return to 6f here but loses the services of Greg Cheyne in the saddle.

Race 8 – Fairview Racecourse
TICKET TO RIDE has found serious rejuvenation since joining Zietsman Oosthuizen and making a return to the AW course. He won over 5f here in April before a respectable 4th on return 4 days later. He’s in good shape and looks the one they all need to account for. WINTER ASSEMBLY was a length back in 4th to the selection that day over 5f. That was his comeback run and he’s likely to give an even better effort today.
