GEORGIAVA gets an enthusiastic vote on debut for Karl Burke as a well-bred filly who should be up to the task at hand. GREEN ZABEEL is another newcomer of note for Mark Johnston, her sire has a reputation for his offspring being useful juveniles.

BLAZING SON should be in fighting shape after a good comeback 4th at Thirsk. He was beaten by a neck over this trip at Redcar off the same mark in October and could make amends here. PROFIT AND LOSS won convincingly at Chepstow on penultimate outing and was a respectable 3rd off 6lb higher. Now up 1lb he’s capable continuing his good form.

CLASSY AL opened his account in style when victorious over C&D last month. He’s up 6lb for the effort but is capable of doubling up here. BRAZEN IDOL is worth a look on return to turf now the penny has dropped.

ANGEL POWER made a strong return to action when only a length 3rd at Nottingham over this trip. With that under her belt this G2 winner is looking a tough runner. MY ASTRA kicked her career off with back to back convincing wins over the mile and hasn’t been disgraced on the podium in 2 outings over AW since. She holds her own at this level and is capable of adding to the tally.

KATS BOB edged out success by a neck at Hamilton at the start of the month and is looking to follow up as he returns to a C&D he is proven over. He does his best work in Scotland and looks very good off 2lb higher. DEPUTY might be able to leave his ordinary comeback run/yard bow in the past now back over 7f.

LULLABY BAY made a very strong impression when 2nd at 20/1 odds on comeback run at Pontefract in April. She backed it up perfectly with a double at Beverley and Thirsk and is now up for a nice hat rick off 6lb higher. FIREBOMB fired up late to notch a success at Ripon by just a head. He’s up 2lb for the effort and could have plenty more in store.

SMART CONNECTION is in good form and is fighting fit for a return to turf for Alice Haynes. She likes a bit of cut in the ground and looks quite capable of getting her way here. ROYAL REGENT is feared and respected as a local specialist with all 5 career wins coming here, including thrice over C&D.
