JEREMIAH JOHNSON has been coming to the boil nicely and looks one not to remain a maiden much longer. He has rattled the crossbar the last twice and could benefit from a return to 10f. CARMELA SOPRANO showed plenty of dash when getting the job done nicely over this trip at Chelmsford a month back. She’s going to have to improve to be a double chance but looks quite capable with Cieren Fallon a suitable replacement for Marco Ghiani.

NIKKI’S GIRL had plenty of issues on her comeback run at Chelmsford latest but still managed to wrangle a convincing victory in a first-time hood and cheekpieces configuration. A 4lb hike is very workable now she’s running with the taste of success and retains the services of Hollie Doyle. NORDIC GLORY is a reliable operator who generally does good work here, he’s not going to go down without a fight.

Race 4 – Lingfield Racecourse
MICK’S SPIRIT hasn’t been disgraced in all 5 outings since shedding the maiden tag with authority over C&D in November. The best since was his penultimate 2nd when paired with the returning Grace McEntee and her valuable 3lb claim. The pair have a fair chance on going one better together. KODIAK ATTACK is interesting on return from 225 days off, last seen 2nd by ½ a length over this trip at Wolverhampton he could prove a thorn in the side of the selection if able to pick up where he left off.

WOODERS DREAM showed ample promise in 3rd on debut at Wolverhampton and backed it up well when 2nd at Newcastle. Both efforts have come over this trip and she looks the sort to progress further for the experience under the care of George Boughey with Hollie Doyle taking over in the plate. ALL GO is worth a look on debut as a well-bred sort representing the powerful Andrew Balding operation. Check the betting.

Race 6 – Lingfield Racecourse
AXEL JACKLIN has been in ripe form of late with a couple of silver medals separated by a Wolverhampton win over 6f. The form reads well in the context of this race and a return to a C&D he has won 4 times over should bode well for Chelsea Banham’s gelding. HARBOUR STORM has been doing well without winning and could make the most of a sliding rating. He is now 35lb lower than his opening mark and could be within striking distance now.

SHADOW ANGEL ran wide at Chelmsford latest but found a good length 3rd at 12/1 odds. Afforded a 1lb drop for the effort she could build on it in a pretty ordinary field. MONSIEUR PATAT was far from disgraced in 8th on comeback run, landing within 5 lengths of the front. He should be better off for the spin and is the sort who looks to have plenty of scope.

YORKTOWN was coming to the boil nicely and finally delivered when home over 12f at Kempton last month. An extra furlong might see him unlock another gear off 3lb higher and the form of that win has been franked since. CAPRICORN PRINCE looks to be the likely challenger as a 3 time local winner who is 1 from 1 over this trip. He represents the red-hot Gary Moore string and is a very viable option.
