RIDGE TO REEF took a tremendous leap forward when 2nd over C&D when fitted with first-time blinkers. Anton Marcus retains the ride and the pair should take plenty of stopping here. DON REPOSADO was lacking over 6f at Fairview when last seen but was 2nd by a short head over this trip at Durbanville preceding. Back from a freshening he could build on the effort now back down in trip.

GLOBAL GODDESS has brought home a cheque the last twice, each over this C&D. Now sporting blinkers she could take the final step toward an open account. CRUIZIN CALIFORNIA has shown glimpses of promise including 3rd over C&D on penultimate outing. She could put another foot forward here today.

SILENT WAR is getting better with each run and was a very promising ¾ of a length 4rd over C&D in December. If he continues along his plotted course he could deservedly shed the maiden tag here. SAGE KING has struck the crossbar in both starts since being gelded. He can keep it up but does have a lousy draw to work from.

GLOBAL ALLY learned some valuable lessons on debut and hasn’t looked back since, finding the frame in all 5 outings since, including 2 wins here. A highly progressive sort, he can take this out on his way to bigger and better, with the extra yardage unlikely to be an issue. LET IT BURN went down by ½ a length when 2nd on debut here and has won both outings since. Another up in trip should pay off for this Kannemeyer gelding who could give the selection plenty of work to do.

KISSING POINT took out a similar event over C&D latest, seeing her now 3 from 3 over C&D. She’s likely to put forth another big effort but does have a slightly worse draw this time as she weathers top weight. BRIANNA has proven herself effective over C&D and could put up a stiff resistance on return from a break.

IRISH MORNING has a spectacular record, not landing outside the money in 7 career outings which includes 4 wins over C&D. He comes back from 191 days off but looks the one to beat on class. HIS CHOICE has been toppled by the selection twice, including by a neck over C&D. He will have to work to flip the result but has a very good chance to do so being race fit and having a bit of pull at the weights.

ADMIRALTY ARCH went down by ½ a length over C&D latest and looks to be the sort that can take that in stride. He is not often far from the action and should give another strong account for Vaughan Marshall. DOUBLE CHARGE was the one to topple the selection over C&D latest and has been in a ripe pocket of form of late. He could confirm the form here but has a bit more to do at the weights.
