Ryan Moore was able to find another gear aboard Love as the Aidan O’Brien-trained filly surged clear in the furlong on Sunday.
After being narrowly beaten in 2000 Guineas yesterday with Witchita, Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien claimed his sixth 1000 Guineas title after Love stormed home to win.
Rival trainers must have been left scratching their heads at O’Brien’s sheer dominance in this race over the last several years, for he has won four of the last five and six now in total.

Adding insult to injury is that Love is still expected to improve during her three-year-old campaign.
Even a top-five finish in the 1000 Guineas would’ve given the stable scope for improvement, but she made the win look all too easy.
The Ballydoyle battalion will now look ahead to Royal Epsom where the daughter of Galileo will eye her next target.

“We always thought that the Oaks was going to suit her very well and the Guineas was going to be her start-off,” O’Brien said.
“We always thought she would stay very well but this was a nice starting point for her. The distance to the Oaks should be perfect.”
Already a G1 winner at the Moyglare in Ireland last season, the last time she and race favourite Quadrilateral faced off saw the former win by a length and three-quarters in the Fillies’ Mile at the Rowley Mile.
Love has now firmed into 5-1 favouritism ahead of the Epsom Oaks on July 4.
Quadrilateral, who appeared to have no excuses in third place after going in as short-priced favorite is next in the Oaks betting at 7-1.
The win aboard Love chalks up a twelfth British Classic for Moore.
“We’ve always thought a lot of her,” he said.
“She was in control of this race from a long way out. She won as she liked, really.”
