DISTINCTION hinted at a return to form when a close 3rd in a first-time visor over 7f here 11 days ago. Off a1lb lower mark and afforded a longer trip we could see him go very well for Karl Burke. ACROSS THE NILE showed her best yet when ½ a length 2nd over C&D and off 1lb higher and paired with Hollie Doyle we can see another competitive bid.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY showed immediate and significant improvement when a first past the post but demoted after the race to 2nd over C&D when sent off handicapping. Charlie Fellowes’ colt won’t need to do much to get an official score despite the 4lb rise. ATTENTIVE has posted a couple of promising starts when finding 3rd in both AW runs. The 70 mark seems a bit stiff but Tom Marquand can never be underestimated.

CHARLES ST caught the eye when ½ a length 2nd over 10f at Lingfield on debut. George Boughey’s colt goes up a couple of furlongs and should be able to go one better. HIGHLAND MONARCH gets a mention on debut for Andrew Balding as a well-bred type who could put forth a strong account from the get-go.

SHARE THE PROFITS edged out a ¾ of a length win over this trip at Southwell on handicap bow in late December. Off a 6lb higher mark we could see her double down now paired with Tom Marquand. ACCELERANDO did plenty right in 3rd at Chelmsford on final outing for the Crisfords and now under the Williams banner could go well.
