He should be fitter for the outing and could make a move off 2lb lower.

SPARTAN ARMY won his maiden with authority in Ireland before being acquired by Alan King. He should be well-readied for the task at hand now tackling timber. WHOLEOFTHEMOON is a rare hurdler for Richard Hughes and has proven fairly apt on the flat. Watch the betting.

READYSTEADYBEAU went down by a couple of lengths on chase bow at Ayr over a seemingly inadequate trip. That was a useful enough pipe-opener and he could take some beating over this trip for in the in-form Lucinda Russell string. TANGO BOY held on for a pleasing C&D success on him own comeback run. He has 4lb more to carry but can remain competitive for Neil Mulholland.

MAGIC WAVE opened the account in an Ayr bumper with a nice 13 in hand a month ago. He can make a winning transition to hurdling over his ideal trip. LIGHTENING COMPANY didn’t make much of an impression in 4th on his sole hurdle bout back in March. He hasn’t done a whole lot on the flat since and could be worth chancing once more in this sphere.

ADRIMEL makes plenty of appeal after 228 days off. He is proven fresh and does look the sort to have a bright future in the chasing ranks. KNICKERBOCKERGLORY has won 4 of his last 5, including a cross-code hat trick when scoring on chase bow at Ffos Las earlier in the month. He has ample scope for improvement but might lose out to the experience of the selection.
