HONEY LAND made a fair impression in 4th on debut over C&D late last month. She came across some useful sorts there and now tackling the maidens could prove too strong. FABULOUS showed fair improvement between runs at Scottsville but does have more to do for win purposes.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
FAMOUS AND RICH did strong late work to make a marvellous imprison in 2nd on debut at huge 40/1 odds. Eyes are on Glen Kotzen’s charge to see if it was a fluke or not. Don’t expect such a price here. UNIQUE POWER made his own strong start when ½ a length 3rd over C&D on debut at 22/1 odds. He’s capable of sharpening enough to give the selection a challenge.

ICY NIGHT scored by a head when tackling C&D for the first time in late June. She seems to enjoy the Polytrack and could build nicely now reunited with Warren Kennedy. DOUBLE DREAM was a narrow winner on debut over 6f on the turf here on debut in May. She was far from disgraced when ¾ of a length 3rd on double bid on this surface and should have plenty more to come.

Race 6 – Greyville Racecourse
LUNA ECLIPSE loves a prominent race on this surface and is bred for this sort of trip. She’s expected to find plenty of improvement, with pole positioning aiding her cause. She arrives in a rich vein of form, having won 2 of her last 3 here over the mile. QUE FOR YOU returns to the Poy following a fair 2 lengths 6th at Scottsville and could enter the fray having found the frame over C&D a couple of times.

RAIN WEAR notched a convincing double over track and trip before not being disgraced when 5th on hat trick bid. She’s since had a rest and can bounce back immediately for an in-form yard. HATTA is back over the mile after a mixed bag of results that never saw her disgraced. She’s proven over C&D and can make her presence felt.

MAXIMUS needed a pipe-opener when 4th over 7f following a couple of months off. She’s 2 from 4 over C&D and can get right back to business here now fighting fit. MR PIGALLE is never far from the action and can play another supporting role while still retaining the capability to win at this level.
