Race 2 – Fairview Racecourse
WILDEST DREAMS wasn’t completely disgraced when beaten favourite in 5th over the extended 9f here on her final outing for Justin Snaith. She could make up for it right away under the eye of Alan Greeff and dropped in trip. GRACE LIGHTNING has been somewhat out of form of late but a return to this C&D where she has placed in both outings could foster a recovery of sorts.

HERODOTUS wasn’t great in 7th here over turf latest but a drop in class might see him get back into the rich pocket of form he was prior to that effort. PHIL’S POWER fired up late to get the goods over C&D latest and is respected as a well-raced veteran for Cliffie Miller.

Race 4 – Fairview Racecourse
A THOUSAND TUNES has unlocked huge improvement since heading to the Eastern Cape and entering the care of Kumaran Naidoo. He won well on local bow over 11f and has found the frame in all 3 appearances since. He won’t have to do too much to get another win under his belt. CANE LIME ‘N SODA edged out success by a neck when sent off favourite on local debut. He misfired since but that was on turf so we can ignore it for today’s purposes. He’s likely to offer plenty of resistance from a decent draw.

Race 5 – Fairview Racecourse
INTEGRITY has always been a useful sort and has continued to please, landing the good on local/yard bow last month. She’s unbeaten on this surface so the transition should be seamless over an ideal trip. WINGS OF FIRE isn’t the most reliable filly on the Eastern Cape but if she brings her best for Sharon Kotzen she’s more than capable of landing a blow and bringing home a cheque.

Race 6 – Fairview Racecourse
PINK LEGACY is a progressive type who has really come into her own since joining Alan Greeff. She has taken well to the Polytrack and can gain compensation for a 9f defeat into 2nd by a head if she can overcome the wide draw. GRANADILLA has placed a few times here and looks to have a bit of scope on this surface. She’s got her work cut out but could bring home some money for Montana Turner.

Race 7 – Fairview Racecourse
SAVANNAH WINTER does all her best work on this surface and has found fair improvement for the fitting of blinkers. She’ll have to knuckle down to have her way here but she’s far from out of it. PERFECT ANGEL is a hit and miss filly for Juan Nel but there was a bit to like about her 7f 3rd here on the turf. She’s got quite the task on her hands but she could surprise at a nice enough price.

Race 8 – Fairview Racecourse
PAM’S PRINCESS is getting better and better over this surface and since joining Juan Nel. Last seen 2nd by a neck over this trip on the turf, a return to the AW could see her land a deserved post-maiden victory. BLINDLOVE is a hard one to sanction due to inconsistency. That said, she does have a bit of dash she occasionally shows. She could put another foot forward and if in the mood build on some decent local form.
