ECHOES OF WINTER has found the podium in 3 of her 6 outings to date. Often a supporting act to a stronger rival, this looks like her time to be the one chased home. OPEN SECRET has come all this way for Justin Snaith and if she can build on her solid 5f efforts she’s a player.

GLOBAL MARK took a huge leap forward when 2nd on the AW here after being fitted with first-time blinkers. She’s given glimpses on turf too, so it is hoped the headgear still has a positive effect. QUESTION THE STARS is forgiven a couple of lacking efforts from lousy draws. Now out of gate 2 we can see a return to his pleasing 3rd on yard bow over 6f here.

Race 4 – Fairview Racecourse
SANTA THERESE is a very useful course specialist who is forgiven a 4th in first-time blinkers back in April. They are shed and she’s expected to recover well enough to be a major contender in the most ideal surrounds. MAJOR ATTRACTION has been hot on the selection’s tail in the past at Kenilworth and might be able to apply further pressure on her first outing at this track.

GLOBAL DRUMMER is a nearly unstoppable force, landing 15 of his 19 starts, including 5 over C&D. He’s set for another 5 timer here and looks hard to oppose on his impressive ascendancy. WHATEVER NEXT got his way in first-time blinkers over 5f here and is a useful type over C&D. He’s got a lot to find on the selection but could find some minor money.

FOREST SPY and KHAYA’S HOPE were ¾ of a length apart when 2nd and 3rd over C&D respectively late last month. Both are shaping to be useful colts for their yards and look like they’ll battle this one out.

DO SI DO didn’t take to blinkers when 7th over C&D a month back. Having joined Gavin Smith since and having the gear shed, she can make a fair recovery for new connections. SWEET REPEAT looks dangerous having made the trek all the way from Cape Town for Justin Snaith.

BOLD RESOLVE took a fair step forward when fitted with blinkers over the AW here last month. A drop in trip and return to turf might be enough to get him a deserved victory under Alan Greeff. IDEAL VIEW is better than his 13th place effort in blinkers over 6f here. Removing them and going back up to 7f can foster a fair recovery.
