HEAT AND DUST has a superb hat trick firm in the crosshair for Sir Mark Prescott. The 5lb penalty can be weathered as she seems to have some breathing room left. TORBELLINO was an easy winner in a 3 horse race over this trip at Brighton. She can put forth another competitive bid with the 6lb rise dampened by Frederick Larson’s 5lb claim.

BAILEYS LIBERTY was denied a double by half a length when 2nd at Musselburgh 9 days ago. Another go off the same 65 mark can see her duly compensated. QUEEN OF BURGUNDY is up 1lb for a narrow success at Chester over slightly further. She’s capable of backing it up but the narrow margin suggest improvement is necessary.

VOLENTI was last seen a surprise 28/1 winner over C&D on turf bow. With that to work from we can see a strong effort from Adam West’s gelding off 4lb higher. ESSENCIAL has been crying out for a return to longer trips of late and finally gets a chance to turn things around. His rider takes 7lb off and the pair could cleave their way to the front here.
