GEORGE RIDSDALE had issues in the run when ½ a length 2nd over this trip at Lingfield latest. He can make up for that here off the same mark with a bit of luck. MASTER GREY is in good heart of late but has been doing in all over longer trips. He could retain his usefulness down in trip but might struggle.

OK PAL took a fair step in the right direction when 2nd on handicap bow over 6f here. Another go off 1lb higher and with another furlong could see him go one better despite the lousy draw. SKYBLUE EXPERT was underperforming when 5th over this trip at Wolverhampton and could bounce back to the standard that saw him 3rd here prior.

BEEZLEBUB improved on a fair debut when 3rd over this trip at Lingfield last month. With that to work from we can see further progression from James Ferguson’s charge. FIERCE has found the frame the last thrice and demands respect off the same mark once more.

THE X O made a strong start to racing life when 2nd over this trip at Lingfield back in May. He hasn’t been seen since but could go one better in a moderate event. TAWALLA gets a nod on debut for Charlie Fellowes, sporting some useful names in his family tree.

DARWELL LION was a fetching winner with 3+ in hand over this trip at Lingfield latest. He has since changed yards and could make a big effort off 8lb higher on his first outing since January. INTUITIVE is a hit and miss operator but could tighten up on comeback run now trying cheekpieces for the in-form Crisfords.

ARAIFJAN notched a couple of silver medals before having his consistency rewarded when home by a neck over C&D a week ago. He has pole position and could double up under penalty. MARWARI is a big danger having won 3 of his last 4 but hasn’t been seen since August. If he doesn’t need the outing he could land plenty of blows here.

SILKS PASS has landed 4th in both outings since joining Alice Haynes. He had some issues in the run at Kempton latest when tried in the tongue-toe and blinkers combination. The gear is tried again and he could make a dent here. CAVALLUCCIO misfired when 9th after being sent off favourite at Lingfield latest. He can cause some damage here if able to bounce back.

COPPERKNOB opened the account with 3+ in hand at Brighton when last sighted in June. He could have more to come now tackling the handicaps and trying the AW again. FAR HORIZON has improved with each flat outing since a wind operation, culminating in a neck success over the mile at Lingfield. Another 2f of run can see him build on the effort now also making handicap bow off a 771 mark.
