DAWN OF LIBERATION was 3rd to a couple of very classy rivals on debut at Newbury in July. He backed that promise up when 2nd at York in the valuable Convivial maiden. The winner has gone on to be narrowly beaten at Listed level so the form has taken a fair boost. Richard Hannon looks to have the one to beat here. SYMBOL OF LIGHT gets a mention on debut for the red-hot Charlie Appleby yard with William Buick an eye-catching booking. He is out of a Listed winner and should be ready to roll.

Race 2 – Newmarket Racecourse
MR PROFESSOR has won both outings since being acquired by Alice Haynes and looks set for a quick-fire hat trick under a further 6lb rise. Rossa Ryan is back in the saddle and things are looking good. NOISY NIGHT landed an AW hat trick recently and demands equal parts fear and respect on return to turf.

Race 3 – Newmarket Racecourse
LOVELY BREEZE won well at Goodwood on penultimate run, and wasn’t disgraced in 6th at Listed level. Up 5lb from that Goodwood win she’s in a good spot to get back on the scoreboard. GALE FORCE MAYA should remain competitive after a solid 6f Pontefract win and she can ignore the 5lb penalty as her rider cancels it out.

HARROW has had a superb run this season including winning valuable races at York and Doncaster. He is up for a 4 timer and will be right amongst it here with Oisin Murphy retaining the ride. TRIDENT has a lot to like for Andre Fabre after a strong 2nd in the Prix Morny.

MAX VEGA wasn’t far back at all in 5th in the Ebor at York last month. He was denied a clear run that day and should find improvement now upped in trip for Ralph Beckett. NAYEF ROAD comes down in class after some respectable group performances and could regain some confidence in these ranks.

Race 6 – Newmarket Racecourse
TRIBAL ART has won his last couple and has some serious scope for improvement. Mark Johnstone’s charge always seems to do the minimum required to score and thus avoids the wrath of the assessor. A 3lb hike is manageable and we can see a hat trick out of him. BOLTAWAY was rattled when gunning for a 4 streak and is still in a good enough spot to recover his footing.

BAKE has won both his runs this season and the latest win incurred a modest 2lb rise for the effort. He can make it a hat trick on run number 5. TADREEB got another win on the board when home at Haydock last time out and a 2lb higher mark can see him mighty competitive.

BABINDI has been a remarkably reliable operator of late and her latest effort has been boosted nicely so she should be the one they all need to account for. Tom Marquand takes the ride once more and this Haggas filly looks hard to oppose. RED OCTOBER is the primary threat now dropped in class and should benefit from a return to turf.
