Race 2 – Ludlow Racecourse
SACRE COEUR is interesting on yard bow for Jonjo O’Neill, a winner over both types of obstacles in France she’s in the right hands to resume her progression. UNE DE LA SENIERE was an effortless victor over this trip at Plumpton back on April and is respected despite being 9lb higher today.

SHOAL BAY was tracking for a win at Worcester last time when a saddle slip resulted in his rider being unseated. That has to sting and amends can be made at a venue he won off 10lb lower back in October. PINK EYED PEDRO has found the frame in some valuable events and should be in the mix off the back of those efforts.

Race 4 – Ludlow Racecourse
CANFORD LIGHT showed plenty of potential in 2 hurdle outings for Thomas Mullins, capping it off with a 6 length win at Kilbeggan. Now running for Evan Williams he should make his English debut a successful one. FITZROY gets a shout in this small field now flying the Sarah-Jayne Davies banner and is rated just 4lb less than the selection.

TORN AND FRAYED has 2 hurdle wins under his belt and now turns focus to chasing. The Twiston-Davies team should have him raring and ready to go for comeback run. RUNSWICK BAY is also making chase bow and is expected to handle these obstacles well off the merits of his hurdle efforts.

EL BORRACHO won his last couple over fences and now reverts to hurdles for an interesting hat trick bid. He is rated 16lb lower over hurdles and can secure the goods with that swing. DUTCH ADMIRAL unlocked some good improvement when 2nd in first-time cheekpieces at Fontwell and should be in the mix with Mitchel Bastyan a nice booking.

MARTHA WILLOW concedes weight all round after a strong Sedgefield win back in April but can still make today’s return a winning one if ready to replicate that effort after 169 days. ROCKED UP has a mixed bag of Irish form and on her best she might be able to land this now under the care of Jonjo O’Neill.
