SPACER found a future G1 placed rival too good on debut before going one better at Haydock when upped to 7f. The extra yardage is tipped to suit David Loughnane’s colt as he guns for a nice double. LUMINOUS LIGHT gave all to land the spoils on debut over the mile at Goodwood and demands respect for Mark Johnston.

FAST STEPS was a pleasing 2nd by a neck at Epsom over this trip last time and can go one better off the same mark. MR EXCELLENCY is down in grade but has not been dropped in rating for his efforts so might continue to decline.

REVICH is down in grade after a workable 3rd over a lightly longer run and while carrying top weight he does his best work at this course. THE KODI KID won here back in July and makes yard bow for Charlie Fellowes so is respected.

HAPAP couldn’t get the formula right at Sandown on debut but was a respectable 5th and should sharpen significantly for the experience. SUPER STARS was too green to keep up on debut over a shorter trip and now upped he has a strong chance for improvement for the powerful Mark Johnston stable.

GABRIAL THE ONE does some of his best here and the drop in trip is the right call after a couple of lacking efforts over 16f. STATE OF BLISS is down in grade and could have a big one in store.
