BRIEF AMBITION travelled nicely to take out a Kempton event on hurdle bow and off an 11lb higher mark could just as easily double down for Fergal O’Brien. BALLINSKER can chase the selection home in a 3 horse event after being well-held by the selection last time at Kempton.

TOP MAN had been sliding down the handicaps before bolting up at Plumpton latest. The 7lb penalty can be overcome on these terms and a double could happen for Chris Gordon. OUR IDIC BOY won nicely at Newcastle last week and there’s plenty of scope for improvement from Ian Williams’ charge.

ONTHEFRONTFOOT had 18 in hand when scoring at Cartmel and he gets to launch off the same rating here. He should be difficult to oppose on these terms. MAGIC DANCER wasn’t firing all cylinders at Uttoxeter latest but still found 2nd. He is down 4lb and should be right amongst it.

STAPLE HEAD is respected off top weight having won off just 2lb lower at Market Rasen on yard bow for these connections.

ORCHARD GROVE has proven progressive and the latest 7lb rise for his hat trick is nullified by his riders 10lb claim. He should prove difficult to account for here. SERGEANT is best positioned to do something about the selection, he is a big threat off a 97 mark and the Harris yard are in fine form of late.
