DUKE OF ROCKINGHAM is bred for timber and after winning his bumper with 9 in hand on 2nd start he can make a winning transition to his ideal sphere under the care of Olly Murphy. HELTENHAM is respected under the Skelton banner after a useful runner-up finish at Vichy when last sighted across the Channel.

DORKING LAD was last seen a half-length 2nd at Fontwell and carries the hopes of Gary Moore who trained the winner of this 12 months ago. HONORARY COLONEL was a pleasing 2nd over timber when last sighted and now heading over fences could prove a useful recruit.

Race 6 – Lingfield Racecourse
WHISKY EXPRESS was green on debut but sheer talent got her home with 2 in hand at Taunton. After 255 days off and wind surgery she should step forward now tackling hurdles for Harry Fry. SPEECH BUBBLE won her debut in the bumpers with authority before being sent off into the Listed ranks for a couple of spins including a strong 2nd at Sandown when last seen.

SPECTACULARDISPLAY didn’t make any impression in his first couple of runs but his latest 5th suggested he could sharpen up with time. He is back from a long break and is not likely to be priced in the triple figures like the past. GO AS YOU PLEASE was well-backed at Fontwell when beating just one home, off a 1lb lower mark he is expected to bounce back to the standard that saw him score at Warwick on penultimate outing.
