LYRICAL GENIUS won well on debut in a Warwick bumper with the form taking a boost with a subsequent winner appearing in that line-up. He can bring that over to hurdles here. ETINCELLE ARTISTE showed some potential when 2nd in a pointer and could fire up nicely now under the care of Dan Skelton.

OSCAR CLOUDS was a nice enough 4th at Wetherby behind a very useful rival. He should come forward for his yard bow and Nicky Richards should see him on his way toward shedding the maiden tag. DEMI SANG was a nice 2nd at Sedgefield latest and off the same mark should go well once more.

WHITE WALKER is 6lb well-in following a convincing victory at Catterick latest. His rider takes 5lb off and he can make for a nice double. MOON KING could offer plenty of resistance after being denied a hat trick by a neck on comeback at Chepstow. Compensation claims are abundant and the 5lb rise is workable.

BRELAN D’AS has a hat trick firm in the crosshairs and can launch for it now before a scheduled 5lb rise. He isn’t likely to suffer for the dropped trip and remains 28lb below his career-high mark. SLANELOUGH is respected having stepped forward nicely when 2nd at Musselburgh latest but giving 11lb to the selection is not ideal in this 3 horse field.
