CASA INVERNO returned to the scoreboard at this level against the girls last time. She’s under penalty but her rider dampens that well and she can go in again. INTREPID wasn’t sharp enough last time but now a gelding and racing as a 3 year old we should see improvement.

MR COBBS had SKIDOO half a length in tow when victorious over this trip at Kenilworth. He is a C&D winner and should be able to hold off the challenge. SKIDOO is better off at the weights but wasn’t impressive in 6th on return to that track.

GAYLEACTIC STAR is back from a spell but is proven effective fresh while also having strong and consistent form. She can pick up where she left off and take a bit of stopping. FUSILLADE has shown a lot to like in her brief career and this 2 time trip winner has plenty of scope for improvement.

SANTA MARIA is interesting coming back to the sprint trips following a spell. If she is fit she can give weight all round and still be a major player. WINTER MOSAIC is an improving type who is trip suited but has a shocking draw to overcome.

JAIMALA is proven over 7 and 9 furlongs and has done enough to suggest he might relish the mile. ALINGALONGA is 2 from 1 over C&D and has a healthy rivalry with the selection. He has solid claims and a fair enough draw to launch a bid.

OUR PRIZED JEWEL ran out of steam in her last appearance before 96 days off. If we forgive that and she gets back to the earlier standard she can make a winning return. MARMALISA is better than the 10th we saw at Fairview last time at Listed level and a return to this C&D can see a bit of recovery for a useful filly.

AMANZIMTOTI has esteemed pedigree and has huge expectations to live up to on return from a few months off. She has shown enough to date and this looks winnable on her way to bigger and better. QUEEN OF THE SHADOWS has a hat trick on the line on just 4th run and if taking to the new track could upset the selection’s plotted course.
