FANCY YOUR CHANCES held on nicely when 3rd on hurdle bow at Chepstow 20 days ago. With that to work from and a longer trip today, she can go very well. BOLINTLEA has had to settle for 2nd in 2 of her 3 outings over timber and warrants plenty of respect on first start since March.

TEMPLEHILLS gets the vote headed down in grade following a 2nd over the further here earlier in the month. Nigel-Twiston Davies’ charge is 5lb below his win here last year and his rider takes a further 5lb off. HELTENHAM is of interest on comeback from 217 days off and a wind operation. A shift to chasing looks a shred one.

MIDNIGHT RIVER was last seen 3rd at Uttoxeter back in March. Rested since, an easing in both class and trip can see him go very well. MOONLIGHTER hasn’t had much success of late but now shifting to the Kim Bailey team we could see a rejuvenation.

GITCHE GUMEE won well on debut in a Kempton bumper back in March. Alan King’s gelding can make a winning transition to hurdle here. SWAPPED has some good bumper form but couldn’t land a blow at Listed level at Aintree back in April. We could see more in these calmer waters.

BEBRAVEFORGLORY landed 3rd in his last couple of starts earlier in the year. Back from 207 days off, he makes huge appeal back up in trip off a nice low 89. JACK THUNDER is respected having won on chase bow here. The longer trip might be an issue as he hasn’t been able to see it out over timber.

SAMATIAN unlocked the required improvement from wind surgery when home with 2 in hand over C&D 12 days ago. A 3lb hike isn’t a big concern and he looks set to remain competitive. STAR OF VALOUR is on the radar having landed in the frame in both outings in this sphere to date. Now going handicapping, he could find even more for Joe Tizzard.
