LA RAV got home convincingly over the mile here last week and off the same mark with his rider’s 7lb claim coming in too he looks well-primed to shoot for a nice double. AJRAD opened the AW account over C&D latest and is capable of backing it up off 3lb higher.

HUBERTS DREAM found huge improvement when sent handicapping over this surface at the end of November. A 6lb penalty shouldn’t interfere too much with his ability to improve in these ranks. SOUTH DAKOTA SIOUX should relish the extra after holding on well for 2nd on nursery debut here. The penny may have dropped here and he could take the final step forward off the same mark.

POCKET THE PACKET is in red-hot form, having won 3 of his last 4 since going into the nursery ranks. He should enjoy the return to 6f as he weathers a 6lb penalty for his latest success. SASSY RED HEAD opened the account nicely over this trip at Chelmsford on 2nd outing on the surface. A 4lb higher mark leaves her room to remain a danger.

FLYING SECRET returned from just over 6 months off track to land a ¾ length 2nd over this trip at Kempton. With that under his belt and improved fitness he should prove a major player. TYGER BAY is a serious player having found 3rd the last twice over this trip. He is off the same 77 mark and can do plenty of damage.

TUDOR unlocked plenty when upped to 10f on local/yard debut for Kevin Philippart de Foy, scoring narrowly but readily. A similar effort off 2lb now upped another couple of furlongs could pay immediate dividends. ZHANG FEI showed a big step in the right direction when 3rd at Wolverhampton over longer last month. He can enter the mix now paired with a 7lb claimer and eased 1lb.

COTOPAXI MOON made a most pleasing introduction despite not living up to favouritism when ½ a length 3rd over the mile here last month. With that under his belt he can go a couple better now upped in trip. CRYSTAL DELIGHT has landed in the money on both runs to date and has since had a wind operation and changed yards. He is well-worth watching here and Jim Crowley’s booking bodes well.

MOTATAABEQ took a big step in the right direction when 4th at Kempton over 11f at 40/1 odds. He can come forward more now eased slightly in trip and off 1lb less. DELVEY showed his best yet when a length 3rd at Kempton over the mile, truly outrunning his 125/1 odds. A return to 10f could see him put the lessons to use.
