WHOLELOTAFUN is looking the danger, having won over C&D by a neck on penultimate outing and being far from disgraced when 3rd here since when upped in trip and grade.

PHENOMENON made a pleasing impression when 5th on debut at Newmarket, arguably outrunning his 100/1 odds. He should prove much sharper for that run and could benefit from both another furlong of run and the switch to the Polytrack. RAINTOWN build on a mediocre debut when 3rd over the extended mile. He also outran his 100/1 odds and could have a slight edge for his AW experience.

BILLY’S JOY has shown ample potential without winning in the novice/maiden ranks. She can make plenty of improvement for the switch to the nursery ranks off a nice opening 61, with Richard Kingscote a pleasing booking. POCKET THE PACKET notched a nice double before having to settle for 4th at Newcastle when upped in grade and trip. A drop back to 5f could be enough to jolt him back into action.

STRANGER THINGS remains somewhat unexposed and has shown a glimpse of potential on her sole attempt over this trip. She should be better off for a few months rest and could strike on the 10th time of asking. LAURENTIA has accounted for the selection over the mile and is a C&D winner. She isn’t as well-off at the weights here and will have to dig deep to confirm the form.

ELTHAM PALACE returned from a 288 day absence with a bang when scoring over his trip at Chelmsford at 18/1 odds. Don’t expect that price but she looks highly likely to double down off 3lb higher. VILLALOBOS couldn’t back up a narrow win over 7f here when 9th at Wolverhampton. He is now tried in cheekpieces and could be worth chancing again.

BORGI is a debut winner who recently regained the winning thread over the extended mile at Wolverhampton. The 4lb rise is dampened by his rider’s 3lb claim and he could prove effective over this longer trip. BABY STEPS obliged favourite backers when narrowly home at Wolverhampton last month, following some promising 3rd efforts. A further 4lb sees him with more to do but he has won off higher and can remain competitive.

EASY EQUATION wasn’t much of anything when tried over timber at Ludlow earlier in the month. He was doing good work on the flat on this surface earlier and can make a fair recovery here. CAPRICORN PRINCE is the danger having landed 2nd over C&D a couple of weeks back. He is up 2lb but should be on the premises.

COME ON GIRL weakened late over 7f here on return from a few months off. She can make her mark dropped back to her proven 6f for Mick Appleby. BIG IMPACT rattled the crossbar a couple of times before going one better by a nose at Wolverhampton earlier in the month. A 3lb rise is workable and he should find himself thereabouts.
