TAAQAT showed massive improvement in 3rd at Brighton last month and now off 1lb lower is expected to crack her duck. Rossa Ryan is a pleasing booking and she’s going to relish the shortened trip. SACRED JEWEL has found 4th in both runs to date and is a fair place contender now running for Julie Camacho.

NIKKI’S GIRL has been in top shape all year, winning her comeback and finding hr frame three times running before another score at Lingfield when returned to this trip. She’s off 1lb higher here and is likely to offer a strong account of herself, with the form of that win being franked multiple times. ROSE BARTON is interesting now going handicapping off a mark of 75, with her rider taking 7lb off. Placed in both outings over turf, she can go very well here.

Race 4 – Leicester Racecourse
CONTINGENCY FEE had a superb 2021 with the highlight being a hat trick at Brighton and Bath. He made a fantastic return to racing in April when home with 3+ in hand at Yarmouth. A 4lb higher mark isn’t a huge issue and he’s likely to have more to come. MING DYNASTY returns from 259 days off after being sent chasing with plenty of success. He’s most interesting returning to the flat at 10 years old after 1429 days away from it and is certainly capable of landing a contest like this provided he doesn’t need the run.

ARYAAH was coming to the boil nicely of late and it all culminated in a nice trip win at Bath a fortnight ago. Off 4lb higher he’s quite likely to have further improvement for George Boughey who has his string in fine order. AL AZHAR is another who was knocking at the door and successfully opened the account at Goodwood. He’s up 3lb and can battle the selection as they both have significant scope for improvement.

Race 6 – Leicester Racecourse
DOUX ESPRIT left a solid first impression when 6th on debut at Kempton, within 3 lengths of the front. The experience will have done Roger Varian’s colt a world of good and he’s pleasingly reunited with Andrew Atzeni here. MAGGIE AND ME chased home a useful type on her own debut at Sandown and is expected to have more to come on return from 248 days off.

UNDER CURFEW is expected to benefit from a return to turf on comeback run, having last been seen 8th on the AW at Wolverhampton. If he can repeat the level of his Goodwood 2nd back in September, he has winning claims. LORD P notched a nice double in August and could make a splash on comeback from 131 days off. Last seen a narrow 3rd at Kempton on the AW, he’s another who will relish a return to grass.

HOW HARD CAN IT BE has unlocked more and more as she was sent up in trip. Back down slightly and returning to turf she’s quite capable of taking out this 4 horse race. RICH DREAM is headed in the right direction after landing 4th at Nottingham on comeback run 9 days ago.
