SAMATIAN notched a fair success at Stratford on return from wind surgery before having to settle for 3rd there after a 3lb rise. He gets a 10lb claimer today and these terms could see him right back on top. SIR JACK WEST showed his best yet when 3rd at Worcester in a first-time tongue-tie and hood loadout. He can come forward off 1lb lower.

NEVER NO TROUBLE has found the frame in 2 of 3 outings since switching to this code and the Don McCain string. She can go well off the same 91 mark, with the form of her latest effort being franked by the winner. CIBAYO LADY is the danger having won with 7 in hand at Worcester last month. She can back it up but does have 8lb more to weather.

LECHRO was a useful sort on the flat without winning and made a strong enough start when a head 2nd at Fakenham on hurdle bow. With that to work from she could take some beating. ASA showed the right stuff in 3rd across the Channel and could show up well now under the care of Richard Hobson.

SACRE PIERRE kicked things off with a double back in 2021 and has had mixed results since. He is off a career high of 118 but his rider takes a handy 5lb off and he could go well after a break. JUST THE MAN could pick up the pieces if the selection isn’t ready. He has shown some promise in these ranks and Ned Fox and his 7lb claim could aid his cause plenty.
